2012 Agency Funding Process Begins

Each year, millions of dollars are allocated to health and human service programs through the Town of Palm Beach United Way. These programs provide vital services to Palm Beach County’s most vulnerable individuals and families. Such essential dollars could not be distributed without the Town of Palm Beach United Way’s volunteer driven, citizen review process.

Well it is, and we are excited, because we have another opportunity to say “thank you” to the BEST group of donors, volunteers and partner agencies. You stand up for this community. You make change happen. You make a difference. You give your time and resources, and strive to make Palm Beach County a better place to live and work. THANK YOU! Palm Beach Turkey Trot was a HUGE Success!

On November 24, 2011, the “Islanders” (our version of a young friends group) hosted the 3^rd Annual Palm Beach Turkey Trot. More than 400 runners, walkers, bikers, roller bladers, dogs, turkies, corn cobbs, etc. joined us to not only kick-off Thanksgiving by touring the beautiful island of Palm Beach – but to give back to their community!

The 2010-2011 campaign ends next Thursday, and once again the people who live or work on the island of Palm Beach stepped up to make a difference in this community.  Those who could give, gave more.  Those who couldn’t give, gave anyway.
