John F. Scarpa Foundation has a $150,000 Matching Grant Opportunity
The John F. Scarpa Foundation will donate up to $150,000 in relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Sandy, which wreaked havoc along the U.S. East Coast.
“Sandy dealt a severe blow to New Jersey and New York, inflicting devastation that has not been seen in this region for decades. Towns were wiped out from the Atlantic City area north along the Jersey Coast through Staten Island and then to Long Island, where power still is not returned to many homes. So many of us in Palm Beach have connections to this area and this is a great way to help those in need. ” said John Scarpa.
Donations can be made through the Town of Palm Beach United Way and The John F. Scarpa Foundation will be matching, dollar for dollar up to $150,000.
Proceeds will benefit the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund and the United Way Hurricane Sandy Recovery Fund. Please send all donations to the Town of Palm Beach United Way, 44 Cocoanut Row, M201, Palm Beach, FL 33480, with Hurricane Sandy in the memo.
