tnank a teacher for teacher appreciation week

If you can read a book, speak another language or balance your checkbook – chances are you have a teacher to thank.

Ask people who have been the biggest influence on their life, and many will remember their favorite teacher.

Mr. Middleton, my high school Social Studies and Student Council teacher, was an extraordinary teacher. HE challenged us, encouraged us, and brought out the best in us.  Mr. Middleton is still teaching and inspiring students today. Every day, in communities across the country, America’s teachers put their hearts and souls into the important work of educating our young people. Teachers have an impact that far outlasts any lesson plan they may give, and we never forget a teacher who inspired us to do great things.

Today marks the beginning of Teacher Appreciation Week. This week is a great week to give teachers the praise they deserve every day. Today, every day; this week, and every week- THANK A TEACHER.
