Currently, there are more than 20 million victims of human trafficking around the world. Human trafficking affects every corner of the earth, from rural to urban areas, regardless of a nation’s wealth – and yes, even in the United States of America.

Many of us, if you are like me, dread going to the dentist, so much that I looked into sedation dentistry. Oh, the high-pitched ZZZZZZ of the drill, the uncomfortable feeling trying to keep my mouth open so they can drill my teeth and tell me I can do a better job flossing.
“I’m fine, I’m fine; I don’t need to go to the doctor.” These words are too often spoken by many men to their wives, kids, or other family members. And often it turns out that something bigger was going on than the sometimes stubborn about health man believed it to be.

We all do it, we see the homeless person on the corner with a sign saying ANYTHING WILL HELP; and immediately, the windows roll up, we pretend we are on the phone, maybe even switch lanes- because it is uncomfortable for us.
