Remember your first day of school? How proud you were to open up that supply box with your very own scissors, pencils, and a box full of brand new crayons? The sad reality is that many children right here in our own community don’t have that experience. For them, starting the school year can be just another time to be reminded of exactly how much they don’t have. We want every child to have the experience of starting the school year with all the tools they will need to be prepared and ready to learn.
