Palm Beach Habilitation Center has been a Town of Palm Beach United Way partner agency since 1987. They provide employment, job placement, residential, education and training, recreation and retirement services for mentally, emotionally and physically disabled adults.

Chris Cameron has been a volunteer at the Town of Palm Beach United Way for the past 5 years. He has served as a Loaned Executive and on our Allocation committee. We sat down with Chris to ask him a few questions about volunteering at the Town of Palm Beach United Way and what it means to him.

Every Fourth of July we celebrate our freedom. Yet, there are many people around the country – and right here in Palm Beach County – who struggle every day for their freedom. Financial independence and stability are among the most basic and essential needs of a strong family. Unfortunately, these needs are becoming increasingly difficult for the poor in Palm Beach County to meet.
