Take Stock in Children has been a Town of Palm Beach United Way partner agency since 2006. They promote personal worth, self-responsibility and academic success for deserving low-income children by providing a unique set of resources including mentors, scholarships, long-term support, student advocacy and a guaranteed educational opportunity.
This year 101 dedicated volunteers will ensure that the Town of Palm Beach United Way is a good steward of your donation (and mine) – so that our gifts make the biggest possible impact in Palm Beach County. These volunteers will serve as the eyes and ears of thousands of our donors.
Our monthly Volunteer Spotlight recognizes Town of Palm Beach United Way volunteers who are passionate, inspiring and dedicated. They are individuals committed to transforming lives and who invest in our vision of building healthy and strong communities.
Trip Moore has been a volunteer at the Town of Palm Beach United Way for 21 years. Trip serves on our Board of Trustees and also serves on our Allocation Committee. We sat down with Trip to ask him a few questions about volunteering at the Town of Palm Beach United Way and what it means to him.
