Week 93 of Action: New Year’s Intentions
CARPE DIEM AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Because it’s a new year, it seems like the right time to make change, start fresh, hit the reset button and make resolutions for the upcoming year.
But, according to statisticbrain.com, 46% of Americans usually make New Year’s resolutions, and of that, only 8% are successful in achieving their resolutions. Maybe it has something to do with the actual resolution – some of the most popular are losing weight, making more money, and falling in love. Those goals are great – but will they make us better at what we do every day?
This year, I will try to live every day with intention. To choose how I spend each day, and how I will exert my energy. I will try to be kinder to myself, appreciate my friends, walk to the edge, laugh, laugh some more and learn.
What about you? Are there changes you keep telling yourself you will make when you have time? How will you choose to illuminate this world? Will you live as if this is all there is? Will you choose to live with intention in 2017?
Carpe Diem and Happy New Year!
