Boxed for Success School Supply Drive

by PBUnitedWay

From July 10th to August 10th, the Town of Palm Beach United Way, in partnership with YOUTH UNITED, will be hosting our 5th annual BOXED FOR SUCCESS SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE.

Many children in Palm Beach County don’t have access to the quality school supplies they need to have a successful school year. We strive to make sure that every child can start their school year with the tools they need, not with a reminder of what they don’t have. Last year, we collected over $1,895 in cash donations, as well as 2,418 pencils, 337 glue sticks, 1,000 pens, 1,237 colored pencils, and so much more! BOXED FOR SUCCESS helps hundreds of kids in Palm Beach County be fully prepared for the upcoming school year.

What You Can Do:

Taking part in the BOXED FOR SUCCESS SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE is extremely important to Palm Beach County kids, and fun for you! Here are the steps for participating in BOXED FOR SUCCESS:

  1. Decorate a shoebox! Get creative: there are prizes for the most extravagant boxes! (Best Theme – $25 Amazon Gift Card, Most Creative – $25 Amazon Gift Card, Most Colorful – $25 Amazon Gift Card, and Best Overall – $100 Amazon Gift Card)
  2. Fill your now dazzling shoebox with new school supplies and your contact information (so that we can thank you!)
  3. Drop your shoebox off at one of the official Drop Off Locations

View last year’s winners here.

(If you aren’t feeling creative but still want to help, we appreciate all donations, whether they are in a decorated shoebox or not! Bring new supplies to one of the drop off locations).
